For most runners, running is about being outdoors, breaking free of the concrete and the carpet, and taking an hour or so to breathe the natural air. Runners often retreat to the trails and paths where they can roam at will. And, despite oppressive summertime humidity or icy winter winds, they are driven to “get out there” every day, if possible.
Raleigh Running Outfitters makes it possible. We reward motivated athletes with technologically driven products that enable them to hit the roads, the trails and the track in any conditions. We supply clothing for all seasons – cool singlets, tees and shorts for the Triangle’s hottest summer days; tights, pants and jackets for those dark, winter evenings. We watch for new advances in fabrics and designs to ensure that our customers are running in the products that are most likely to enhance their runs. And, if there’s a new gadget out there for pacing yourself, protecting your joints, hydrating, or keeping you visible at night, we’ve got it, and we can tell you how well it works.
We encourage our customers to head out to the Triangle’s trails, or to try out the local tracks, and we offer shoes designed for all different surfaces. From cross country spikes to racing flats for the road, our shoe selection spans the breadth of runners’ needs. And we don’t want you driving all over town to find the brand name you’re looking for. Here, you can compare the fit and feel of Nike, New Balance, Asics, Saucony, Brooks, Adidas, Mizuno, and Puma – all in one sitting. We know that, without the right shoes and the right fit, any training run can feel like an ultra marathon! So we fit you in just the right shoe for your foot and the perfect shoe for the terrain you train on.
So, if you need a break from the grind, or a breath a
fresh air from your shoe-shopping frustrations, stop by and let us outfit
you for your next run. After all those miles, you deserve it!
